Part 1 Islam; the misunderstood religion
It is one of the major faith in the world. With around 2 billion followers, with its believers across almost every country across the globe, how did the so called “extremist faith” or “a religion that is spread by the sword” stand the test of time for so long?
Islam derives from the Arabic word “salam” which carries the meaning peace, purity, submission and obedience. It is a monotheistic religion that believes in the Oneness of God. By becoming Muslim, one must submit to the rule and law of God.
Post 9/11 brings a different kind of exposure to the religion. Islamophobia triggers a lot of misconception of the religion and its teachings. These series will shed some light on the religion, its true fundamentals and also explores on some most common issue in the simplest way possible.
